(OTC.BB:DNPI – News) today announced the launch of its Device Management offering, part of its MobileCare(TM) mobile systems support services program. The Device Management service helps DecisionPoint customers minimize any potential downtime on their mobile devices by delivering end-user help services via remote control, and automatically distributing and installing software patches and upgrades remotely.
Device Management is deployed as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and coupled with live support from experienced DecisionPoint personnel to give customers a true, personalized support experience, as if the support staff were there in person.
DecisionPoint has already deployed MobileCare(TM) Device Management for a national trucking company currently supporting hundreds of mobile computers across the United States with plans to increase this total to several thousand mobile computers.
